At Florida Center for Recovery's drug and alcohol rehab center, clients in need of detoxification are admitted directly to the detox facility. After the detoxification process, the client resides in the modern apartments located on the same campus. One of the greatest advantages of treatment at Florida Center For Recovery is the fact that detox and therapy are all offered within our 12 acre private retreat, allowing our clients to continue treatment in the same facility by attending our unique combination of traditional and holistic addiction treatment without transferring to a different location and starting with new staff of care takers. We believe that treatment is more effective when is performed under the supervision of the same caring professionals who know first-hand of the client’s medical history.

Our medical team consists of physicians, psychiatrists and nursing professionals who are available 24/7 to ensure the safety and comfort of our clients. Our therapy staff consists of addiction treatment specialists, mental health counselors and licensed social workers with years of experience in addiction treatment and mental health.

Florida Center For Recovery also offers Family Recovery Program which is developed to support and enhance the quality of our client’s relationships with their families and loved ones. Our sessions provide family members with a forum to learn positive communication skills and address chronic issues and concerns with the guidance of a professional mediator.

If a client’s recovery is affected by past trauma, we offer Rapid Trauma Resolution Therapy to uncover the troubling memories and start the healing process. As part of relapse prevention therapy, through cognitive behavioral therapy, clients in individual and group therapy are taught beneficial techniques to understand and effectively handle real world situations that could potentially cause relapse. During Relapse Prevention Therapy, clients learn mindfulness such as how to identify warning signs and triggers, manage sober time, and develop a solid foundation for recovery.

In order to better serve you, our prospective client, as well as your family and loved ones, we have compiled a list of the most frequently asked questions below. Please feel free to call us at any time if you have a question or concern that is not covered here.

1. What Are My Options in Getting My Loved One Into Rehab?

It is often that family members contact us to discuss the difficulty they are having in regard to convincing their loved one to get help. If you have already attempted to speak to your loved one without a successful outcome, we suggest either bringing the individual to visit the facility or planning an intervention.

Visit our Drug and Alcohol Rehab Facility

You can schedule a visit to our treatment facility to demonstrate to your loved one that they are coming to a safe place where compassionate care is offered in a healing and nurturing environment. Although this might not always be feasible, as addicts and their families often don't have the benefit of time or the emotional energy to do a thorough search of all available options, this could very well be a good opportunity to meet our staff and have your loved one see for him or herself that we are not a lock-down facility, but an open campus located in a lush private property with plenty of areas for leisure. These settings are designed for relaxation, contemplation, and personal reflections.

There are often times that your loved one is in denial and needs addiction treatment, but is unwilling to seek help. In such cases an intervention is recommended. Interventions were established to help families and their loved ones deal with one of the most common problems of addiction, DENIAL.

Plan an Intervention

Interventions are designed to break through the denial by providingconcerned families and friends with the tools needed to empower themselves to change the dynamics of their relationship. Enlisting the help of a professional Interventionist will considerably increase the chances of having your loved one accept the help of treatment at a drug rehab facility. Even if an addict decides not to enter a treatment center on the day of the intervention, chances are that the intervention session will plant the seed that results in the decision to seek treatment soon after. Intervention can be described as the process of bringing the person from the bottom up, rather than waiting for the person to hit rock bottom or experience a crisis.

2. Is Florida Center for Recovery a Licensed Addiction Treatment Facility?

Florida Center for Recovery is licensed by the state of Florida and the Department of Children and Families. A licensed facility needs to go through a strict certification process that includes complying with standards of safety as well as maintaining specific staff-to-client ratio for the treatments offered. FCR has also earned The Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval™ for delivering high quality and safe healthcare to all patients.

3. What Insurances Are Accepted at Your Addiction Treatment Center?

FCR accepts major insurance plans and provides private pay options for clients who qualify as well. Please contact our admissions office at PHONE or chat with one of our counselors now for further assistance with your particular insurance question. Insurance companies pay the full cost of addiction treatment when the plan provides for it. Addiction Treatment Programs Offered at Florida Center for Recovery

Outpatient Drug and Alcohol Rehab Program

Outpatient Rehab Programs are recommended for individuals at the early stages of addiction who are functioning in a normal manner in society without major problems. These individuals are aware of the fact that they have a drug dependency issue and are still somewhat in control of their drug abuse. They want to take care of the situation before it creates future problems. Additionally, an outpatient rehab program is a good way to keep recovery in check for those who have gone through residential rehab as clients are able to remain in contact with their therapists through regularly scheduled meetings.

Inpatient Drug and Alcohol Rehab, also Known as Residential Rehab

Our Residential Rehab is the addiction treatment program provided for clients who have a moderate to severe addiction problem. These individuals are often struggling with their daily lives and are unable to make wise decisions with regards to their own well being. While some individuals who are struggling with alcohol or drug addiction do make the call to get help themselves, many get admitted through the efforts of family and friends who are in desperate need of help and can no longer bear watching their loved one go through the painful process of self destruction.

Residential addiction treatment and outpatient rehab at Florida Center for Recovery offer different levels of treatment and support for different types of treatment needs. Recommending these services to our clients is a matter of understanding the clients’ treatment needs as far as the type of drug(s) of abuse and the length and severity of the abuse. However many who seek addiction treatment are at the stage where detoxification is the required first step for them, following residential treatment.

We wish all the success for you or your loved one in seeking treatment for the disease of addiction, and a happy life free from addiction.
